I found the Rahini School of Yoga & Meditation about a year and a half ago and have not left since. I started off with the beginner classes, which were so descriptive and helpful towards my yoga practice. As I began to deepen my practice, I joined the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification Class under the teachings of Dr. Dean. Dr. Dean is the most excellent, original, uplifting, inspiring, knowledgeable teacher I have ever come across in my entire life! Heidi and Naomi make you feel right at home whenever you walk into the Rahini School of Yoga & Meditation. I have since completed the 200 Hour Certification and have no regrets. Thank you so much for helping me deepen my practice!
I have been a student at the Rahini School of Yoga & Meditation for over a year now. First graduating from the 200 hour teacher certification program and now going for my 500 hour certification, under the guidance and teaching of Dr. Dean. This program is not only educational, but also incorporates a wonderful foundation for yoga, meditation and spiritual growth. I never could've expected such a life changing experience as I've encountered since joining the program. I look forward to more personal growth here as well as a deeper connection to the body, mind and spirit. ~namaste
I recently completed the 200 hour Teacher Training Program taught by Founder, Director, and very Gifted Dr. Dean Telano and it has been a life-changing experience for me. Rahini Yoga brings Lightness and Joy to ones Heart and Mind. It helps develop and strengthen concentration, meditation practice and Spirituality to help one achieve a Higher State of Mind. It teaches people, not poses-it helps the body find the yoga pose rather than forcing the pose into the body. Proper alignment is key, and it is through this that we discover so many things about ourselves and begin to strengthen the ones that serve us, and change the ones that do not. It teaches Mindfulness, Balance and Connection, it inspires, and it teaches one to smile! Rahini Yoga creates Inner Awareness and teaches us that it is a journey of the body AND the mind. Self-Discovery and Inner Awareness are key in changing one's Mind/Body/Breath/Spirit connection. Rahini Yoga guided me to this path and it is one I will continue with the careful and care-full guidance of Dr. Telano and the Senior Rahini Yoga teachers. Thank You, Rahini Yoga, and I look forward to the next part of my Journey with you, the 500 hr Teacher Training Program.
This is an amazing school to get your yoga certification in. Dr. Dean Telano is knowledgeable and knows exactly what the class needs. He and the staff work with you if there are issues and make sure they do everything they can to help you with your certification. I moved on to the 550 hour program not only to gain more knowledge but because the staff there is so wonderful. They offer so many different certification programs and each one is an awesome experience. If you are looking to get certified this yoga program is a must!!!
Transformational experience. Although each of the students in the training were of very different ages, backgrounds, physical abilities, etc. we all came through the experience with exactly what we needed to move forward in our lives. Many of us went on to teach yoga, but others were just interested in deepening their personal yoga experience. Very informative, empowering, and healing. Everyone should experience this transformation at some point in their lives! Simply Wonderful.
