Andy's Roadside Dive

Passed by this place a million times and today I stopped to support the Underdog in tte NJ Hot Dog Contest. Andy was awesome, shared some food stories.as he prepared about 5 different hot dogs. They were all outstanding. You can tell how passionate he is about hot dogs in every aspect. Dont judge the dog by its cover. No fancy way to order you hot dogs here, no corporate cookie cutter lines here, just great hot dogs. I wo ne back for more.

Wow! What a great spot. Andy does a great job elevating the hot dog to new heights. The staple Pig Dog is spectacular and he does a great job rotating new items on to the menu regularly. TRY THE STAY PUFT, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!! A must stop for great hot dogs in northern NJ.

Andy's is off the hook. His specialty dogs are amazing. All are great but my favs are Pig dog or puppy, stay puff, Dirk doggler and #1 super dog. Andy cycles his specialty dogs so you may not have all the dogs available . His toppings are always fresh. Consider his dogs as sandwich dogs

Delicious dogs with amazing and creative combinations of toppings! Fluffanutter on a hot dog, no way, right? Wait till you try it! Andy is also super nice and friendly. Great place to stop by for lunch while cruising around the lake.

Love this place! Andy's gourmet hot dogs are amazing!! Andy really takes hot dogs to a whole new level. My favorites of his specialty hot dogs are the "Wing Thing" and "Mr. Potato Dog". If you like buffalo chicken wings, you'll love the "Wing Thing" because it packs the tasted of buffalo sauce with bleu cheese and celery! "Mr. Potato Dog" is basically a baked potato on a hot dog, fusing slices of potato, sour cream, melted cheddar cheese, and bacon bits on top. Ugh...My mouth waters as I write this review. Great spot for lunch or an afternoon snack. Andy's is from early spring to late fall so catch him on a nice day! He's right off Howard Blvd, by the lake! Highly recommended! Cash only.
