  This place is excellent! Quaint family owned diner with lots of personality. Food is wonderful. Prices and reasonable. Service is out standing. This ia a must stop if you're traveling east or west on I-84 in Connecticut.

  Love old diners & this place did not disappoint. Service was quick despite how busy they were. The coffee was fresh & strong. The breakfast was tasty and our waitress was very pleasant. This diner is very spacious. As you walk in the door you are greeted with an assortment of pastries & cookie trays. This was perfect for us as we were visiting for Thanksgiving & were able to bring some pastries. We look forward to going back to the Blue Colony Diner the next time we are passing through.

  They have a very nice aesthetic look and it was very clean inside. The food was out super fast and was delicious. The speed and taste were surprising given that there are a lot of options and it's all homemade, and we were there at somewhat of a breakfast rush. The only critic I have is that the coffee is a little watery, but everything else was great and filled me (a hungry teenager) and my two brothers (ultra hungry kids). We got some of the homemade challah bread to go because the French toast with it was so good.

  I couldn’t find anywhere that was open 24 hours near me. I am amazed at how greatly I was treated. It is the cleanest diner I’ve been to and the food is great. To top it off they have a plethora of huge pastries and desserts. I am definitely coming back.

  The key to a successful business is location. The Blue Colony Diner is ultra-conveniently located off of exit 10 on i84. More than just convenient, the food is really good. Serving up standard diner fare, Greek specialties, and in-house baked goods. My personal favorite are their almond horseshoes. That said their apple turnovers are large enough to feed a family of 4. Good value, good food, good location. Definitely give them a shot if you are driving through the area.
